Freelance Automotive Writer

Carscoops covers the automotive world from every angle – new models, EVs and emerging technology, industry developments, recalls, used cars, tuning, auctions, oddball builds, and all the stories you actually want to read.

We’re looking for experienced freelance automotive writers to join our team. Strong candidates are genuinely immersed in the automotive world, comfortable digging into technical details and industry news, and able to turn solid research into clear, engaging stories for enthusiasts and everyday drivers alike.

What You'll Do

  • Claim and complete articles from a list of available assignments
  • Deliver accurate, engaging content in a fast-paced publishing environment

What We Offer

What You’ll Need

  • At least 1 year of editorial or professional writing experience
  • Experience covering the automotive world, including new vehicles, EVs, industry developments, technology, recalls, ownership, used cars, and car culture
  • Comfort working in a CMS
  • Strong research skills, grammar, and attention to detail
