Freetrade Sales Manager – Multi-Temperature Wholesale Organisation - £55K + Benefits
My client is a leading multi-temperature wholesale organisation with a fantastic reputation across the UK.
They are seeking a Freetrade Sales Manager to join their team. The successful Freetrade Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying, securing, and onboarding new customers across all aspects of Freetrade sector channel, including restaurants, pubs, cafes and independents. This is a high-impact, commercially focused role for someone who thrives on opening doors, building long-term partnerships, and turning opportunities into sustainable revenue.
This is the perfect role for a high performing Key Account Manager or National Account Manager looking to join an exciting business who can match their ambition and offer genuine career progression opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Proactively targeting and winning new national and multi-site customers across Freetrade independent and Horeca channels.
- Leading and mentoring small sales team.
- Managing the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and contract close.
- Developing tailored commercial proposals, pricing structures, and service solutions.
- Leading customer onboarding and implementation alongside operations, supply chain, and customer service.
- Building strong senior-level relationships with decision-makers.
- Delivering agreed new business revenue and margin targets.
- Maintaining accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM reporting.
- Keeping close to market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.

The Ideal Freetrade Sales Manager Candidate
- Proven experience winning new business at national or multi-site level.
- Background in foodservice wholesale, manufacturing, or distribution.
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills.
- Ability to influence at senior stakeholder level.
- A self-starter mentality with high energy and resilience.
- Excellent planning, presentation, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel nationally as required.
