ARNE is a UK-based apparel and footwear brand based in Birchwood Park, near Warrington. We design and develop all our products in the UK, working with trusted manufacturing partners across both the near and far east.

All our products are available directly to customers through ARNEclo.com, offering a seamless online shopping experience. We’re also proud to be stocked in Selfridges, both in-store and online, and we’ve recently opened our first permanent retail store at Liverpool ONE – a huge milestone for the brand.

Looking ahead, we have ambitious goals for the next decade, and the team firmly believes they’re all achievable. From launching new product categories and expanding internationally to investing in paid media, CRM, and growing our retail presence — the next chapter for ARNE is shaping up to be an exciting one. And this is only the beginning!

We’ve come a long way from starting out in Mum’s bungalow back in 2018 to our all-new, fully bespoke HQ. This space will be our home for at least the next 5–10 years, and while it’s not quite our style to shout too loudly, it’s here that we plan to reach our goals, take ARNE global, and further establish ourselves as a truly iconic UK brand.

As our teams continue to grow, we are now looking for a Freight Administrator to join the team. You will be responsible for keeping a constant communication stream between ARNE, suppliers, and forwarders ensuring key data is communicated promptly improving stock availability.

Your day-to-day role and responsibilities include:

  • Update shipment tracking sheet as soon as information is presented by suppliers or forwarders including internal data such as
  • Updating back to stock sign ups
  • Updating availability and weeks cover from Merchandising team information
  • Cross referencing supplier packing lists versus expected shipment volume and Merchandising purchase order volume and highlighting any discrepancies out of tolerance
  • Use initiative to aim to combine shipments across multiple suppliers where applicable to save on costs when sending shipment data to forwarders
  • Communicate with ARNE/THG staff to gather information on timed deliveries and presentation, help to present information to prepare monthly and quarterly feedback reports to THG
  • Updating forwarder performance analysis tracker and present weekly OTIF reviews to all freight forwarders, including comparing initial quote data vs actualised arrival data
  • Maintain a shared incident log, ensuring all incidents are accurately reported and escalated as required
  • Support the Freight Co-ordinator with:
    • Comparing forwarder/airline confirmed volumes versus supplier forecasts and highlighting additional charges occurred due to out of tolerance forecasts
    • Creating line level data for all THG shipments, taking data from supplier packing lists and highlighting any admin errors causing supplier chargebacks
    • Updating shipment cost tracker, raising and challenging any discrepancies from both forwarders and suppliers
    • Communicate with suppliers on packing list formats and improvements to ease administrative errors causing discrepancies at THG
    • Correspond with forwarders ensuring clear delivery deadlines are communicated for both drop stock and urgent restocks
    • Communicate with ARNE QC manager and Production and Sourcing Assistant to ensure goods requiring internal QC checking preparing to leave suppliers are highlighted to suppliers and forwarders to guarantee stock reaches website quicker
    • Gather information across all aspects of the Freight department to ensure accurate reporting to the wider business
    • Updating the shared Inbound Delivery Schedule file with THG to ensure full communication streams of inbound and outbound shipments
    • Aid in creating and share product information with the Ecommerce team, ensuring all new and restocked lines have up to date MID and HS codes

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
