Freight Forwarder / Operations Manager required for Derry, Northern Ireland (Hybrid)

Full-Time, Permanent | Reports to: Managing Director

About the Company

Our client is one of the fastest-growing privately-owned logistics companies in the world — a top 3PL, top 100 logistics provider, and a genuinely great place to work. They deliver end-to-end supply chain solutions across road, sea and air, built around agility and technology rather than one-size-fits-all freight.

The Opportunity

They're growing their Northern Ireland operation and need someone to lead and build the Derry team from the ground up. This isn't a maintenance role — it's a build role. You'll run day-to-day freight forwarding operations, own client relationships, lead a small team, and shape how this office competes across the UK, Irish, and international markets.

If you like solving supply chain problems other people give up on, and you want the autonomy to build something rather than inherit it — this is worth a conversation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
