We're hiring: Multimodal Operator / Freight Forwarder — Home-based, London
Phaon Logistics is looking for an experienced freight forwarder to take ownership of a live book of import and export files — sea FCL/LCL, air, and European road — from day one. This isn't a helpdesk role: you'll quote, book, ship, clear, deliver and invoice end to end, keep customers ahead of problems rather than explaining them after the fact, and manage supplier relationships and customs clearance across the UK and EU.

We're after someone with 3+ years' hands-on UK freight forwarding operations experience across at least two modes (sea, air, road), solid on Incoterms 2020 and CDS declarations, comfortable with carrier portals (Maersk, CMA CGM, MSC etc.) and GVMS/GMR, and proven at working remotely and self-managing. Customs formalities, US ISF 10+2 filings, DG awareness or a BIFA/IOE&IT qualification are all a plus.

📍 Home-based (London, Dartford, Tilbury, Bromley or Rainham)
💷 £35,000–£37,000 + annual bonus
🗓️ Start 1 November 2026
25 days holiday + bank holidays, pension, full home-office kit, funded training
