Freight Forwarding Sales Executive / Business Development Manager

Salary: Competitive Basic Salary + Uncapped Commission (Dependent on Experience)
About Us
Quantum Cargo Service UK Limited is a growing UK-based international freight forwarding and logistics company, providing comprehensive sea freight, air freight, customs clearance and inland transportation solutions.
With an established international network and strong partnerships with major shipping lines and overseas agents, we are expanding our presence in the UK market and looking for experienced freight forwarding sales professionals to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with UK importers, exporters and commercial customers.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
- Promote our international sea freight (FCL/LCL), air freight, customs clearance and UK inland transportation services.
- Prepare competitive freight quotations, negotiate commercial terms and convert enquiries into profitable business.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and customer acquisition to account development and retention.
- Work closely with operations, pricing teams and overseas partners to deliver reliable logistics solutions.
- Achieve agreed sales targets, gross profit (GP) objectives and business development KPIs.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular performance updates.

Requirements
- Proven experience in freight forwarding sales or business development within the UK market.
- Strong understanding of international freight forwarding, particularly sea freight imports and exports.
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and manage customer accounts independently.
- Good commercial awareness of freight rates, shipping processes and logistics solutions.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, commercially driven and results-oriented.
- Existing customer relationships or an established network within the UK freight forwarding industry would be a significant advantage.
- Full right to work in the UK.
