Harborside Logistics Operations Coordinator
Harborside Logistics is looking for an experienced Operations Coordinator to join our growing team in Hockley Heath, Solihull.
If you have experience managing import, export, and/or cross-trade shipments and enjoy working in a fast-paced freight forwarding environment, we'd love to hear from you!
What you'll be doing:
- Managing import, export, and cross-trade shipments from booking through to final delivery.
- Liaising with customers, overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, hauliers, and suppliers.
- Preparing and checking shipping documentation while ensuring customs compliance.
- Monitoring shipment progress and keeping customers informed every step of the way.
- Resolving operational issues efficiently to ensure the smooth movement of freight.
- Delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining high operational standards.

What we're looking for:
- A minimum of 2 years' freight forwarding experience is essential.
- Experience handling import, export, and/or cross-trade shipments.
- A good understanding of international shipping documentation and customs procedures.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
