They connect top-tier freelance contractors with businesses that need specialized skills, facilitating direct and transparent collaboration. As part of an exciting upcoming expansion into the Canadian market, they are comprehensively localizing their core platform from English to French.
They are seeking a meticulous and highly skilled French Linguist to conduct a thorough side-by-side review of the site's key user journeys. In this critical QA phase, you will ensure the translated platform delivers a flawless customer experience while maintaining strict fidelity to the original English meaning.

Working directly with the Senior Product Manager, you will act as the bridge between linguistic accuracy and technical implementation. This role requires someone who takes immense pride in their craft and can independently take ownership of their deliverables in a fast-paced, remote environment.
What You Will Do
Linguistic Review & Quality Assurance
- Conduct a rigorous, side-by-side comparison of the English and French platform interfaces.
- Identify, flag, and correct errors in meaning, spelling, and grammar across multiple distinct user journeys.
- Maintain exemplary standards of copy to ensure a brilliant and seamless customer experience.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Methodically document and communicate all identified changes back to a non-French-speaking development team.
- Structure your feedback clearly and logically so that developers can action your changes quickly and easily.
- Take a highly organized approach to tracking progress, ensuring absolutely nothing is missed before the Canadian launch.

What You Bring to the Table
- Linguistic Excellence: You are fully fluent in both English and French with a razor-sharp eye for detail, grammar, and nuanced meaning.
- Methodical Organization: You possess a highly structured nature, capable of managing multiple digital user journeys without losing track of granular details.
- Effective Communication: You have excellent organizational skills and the ability to seamlessly translate linguistic feedback into actionable tasks for technical, non-native-speaking stakeholders.
- Product Sensibility: (Bonus) You have prior experience localizing technical B2B products or digital platforms.
- Autonomous Drive: You are honest, self-motivated, and comfortable taking complete ownership of your assigned tasks.
