Located in Knightsbridge on the edge of Hyde Park, Bvlgari Hotel London is one of the capital’s most distinguished luxury destinations, renowned for its Italian craftsmanship, contemporary elegance and uncompromising standards. Since opening in 2012, the hotel has set the benchmark for luxury hospitality in London — and behind every seamless guest experience is a skilled, dedicated team who take real pride in keeping it that way.

We are looking for a French Polisher to join our Engineering team, playing an essential role in preserving the fine furniture, bespoke joinery and timber finishes that give the hotel its warmth and character.

Reporting to the Assistant Chief Engineer, you will be a skilled and discreet presence across the property – you will be responsible for the restoration, repair and finishing of all timber surfaces throughout the hotel, ensuring furniture, joinery, panelling and fittings in guest bedrooms, suites, public areas and back of house are maintained to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out French polishing, staining, waxing, lacquering and fine finishing on furniture, joinery, panelling, doors and fittings throughout the hotel
  • Restoring scratches, dents, chips, burns and water marks to an invisible standard, colour matching to existing finishes
  • Maintaining and restoring high-value and bespoke pieces across guest bedrooms, suites and public areas
  • Working discreetly in and around occupied guest areas, with minimal disruption to guests and residents
  • Responding to maintenance requests from operational departments and providing clear, timely feedback
  • Supporting refurbishment projects and planned preventative maintenance across the property
  • Keeping tools, materials and work and storage areas clean, safe and well organised
  • Upholding Health & Safety standards at all times, ensuring the wellbeing of guests, residents and colleagues

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
