About the Role
A French speaking Business Development Advisor is needed with one of the most respected firms within the banking and finance sector in Europe based in the City of London. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, the aim of this role is to support business clients of the Group to expand his activity into the UK and Ireland, by assisting in the implementation of his strategy and initiating commercial leads within relevant market sectors.
Responsibilities
- Undertaking market studies and research
- Taking responsibility for specific mandates involving in-depth market surveys
- Competitor analysis, drawing development strategy
- Organising marketing and development activities in the UK on behalf of the Groups for French client companies
- Meeting French business clients of the Group to promote services and offer advice on development strategy

About You
To be successful within this role you will be a confident and enthusiastic communicator with a pragmatic and inquisitive mind, not shy to take ownership and responsibility over assigned projects. Fluency in both French and English is essential and preferably you will have knowledge of the UK and French banking sector. This is a full-time, permanent position. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm with a hybrid scheme in place, working 3 days from the office and 2 days from home.

Profile
- Required to be fluent in French and English to a native level, both written and spoken
- Previous experience in market research
- Interest in developing a career in corporate business development
- Understanding of the banking sector is a plus
