WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
You're a commercially ambitious, strategically minded leader who can shape the next phase of a high-potential technology platform. You combine portfolio-thinking with hands-on commercial delivery, equally comfortable developing a three-to-five year growth strategy and owning a deal with a strategic account.
You have significant P&L ownership experience, strong commercial instincts, and genuine curiosity about technology markets and where they're heading. You're native-fluent in French, confident leading across international markets, and ready to build something transformational.
THE ROLE:
Strategy, Growth & Innovation
- Set and deliver the annual business plan for Tech Show Paris
- Develop a three-to-five year growth and innovation agenda
- Identify emerging technology sectors, changing customer needs and new commercial opportunities
- Develop new event formats, content platforms, partnerships and sponsorship products
- Use customer insight, market data and competitor intelligence to guide investment
- Build stronger connections between sectors while protecting individual community relevance

Commercial & Financial Performance
- Own the portfolio P&L and deliver agreed revenue, contribution, profitability and EBITDA
- Set sales, pricing, sponsorship, exhibitor mix, yield and cost priorities
- Drive exhibitor and sponsor acquisition, retention, rebook revenue, cross-sector selling and strategic growth
- Maintain strong pipelines, accurate forecasting, disciplined CRM use and effective cash collection
- Lead strategic accounts and complex negotiations
Customer, Market & Partnerships
- Translate customer needs into compelling event propositions and commercial solutions
- Work with marketing and content to grow audience quality, visitor numbers and engagement
- Build senior relationships with associations, institutions, media and technology communities
- Identify new routes to market and portfolio opportunities
Leadership & Delivery
- Lead and develop Event Directors and sales colleagues across international markets
- Set clear objectives, targets and performance expectations
- Recruit, coach and retain high-performing people; build succession capability
- Coordinate sales, marketing, content, operations, finance and customer service through the full event cycle
- Own the onsite rebook strategy and work with Operations on floorplan and visitor experience
- Ensure events are delivered safely, compliantly, on time, within budget and to high standard
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:
- Portfolio delivers revenue, contribution, profitability and EBITDA targets
- Exhibitor and sponsor retention, new business and rebook revenue grow
- Tech Show Paris strengthens audience quality, satisfaction and market position
- New sector opportunities, propositions and partnerships are identified and commercialised
- Forecasting, CRM, pipeline and cash collection are accurate and disciplined
- International team is high-performing, well-led and developing future leaders
- Events delivered with strong customer experience, quality and operational control

ABOUT YOU:
Essential:
- Native-level French and fluent English
- Significant experience leading a portfolio of B2B events, brands or sector communities
- Proven P&L ownership and responsibility for commercial results
- Strong experience across exhibitor sales, sponsorship, retention and strategic accounts
- Experience leading senior event, sales or commercial teams
- Ability to turn market insight into clear strategy and measurable growth
- Strong financial, analytical, forecasting and stakeholder-management skills
- Confidence working across international markets and geographically distributed teams
- Commercially accountable, customer-led, curious about technology markets
Desirable:
- B2B technology, EMEA or multi-market events experience
- Salesforce or equivalent CRM experience
