The Role

We are looking for an experienced asset management sales professional to cover the French-speaking regions and join our dynamic Benelux & French Speaking Sales team based in London. You will be part of the distribution team and report directly to the Regional Director for Benelux & French Speaking Regions, playing a key role in expanding Global X’s presence across the wealth management and institutional landscape.

Working closely with the Regional Director, you will take significant ownership of developing the French-speaking business, including driving client relationships, new business generation, pipeline development and asset growth across the region. You will play a leading role in shaping and executing the regional sales strategy and independently developing the client franchise across key market segments.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management and Client Servicing:

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities to grow assets and increase product penetration
  • Build and maintain a strong network of clients and prospects across the French-speaking markets, with a focus on wealth managers, private banks, fund selectors, asset managers, family offices and other institutional investors
  • Take responsibility for developing and expanding Global X’s client franchise across the French-speaking markets, building long-term relationships with senior decision-makers and establishing Global X as a trusted partner
  • Develop and execute account plans for key clients and prospects, identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and grow assets
  • Provide a high level of client service while sharing relevant client feedback, market intelligence and business opportunities with the Regional Director and wider team

Business Development:

  • Play a key role in the development and execution of the sales strategy for the French-speaking markets, identifying priority client segments, Tier 1 accounts and key commercial opportunities
  • Take responsibility for delivering against agreed regional AUM, net new asset and new business targets, with clear accountability for the growth of the French-speaking client franchise
  • Independently build, manage and convert a high-quality pipeline of new business opportunities, prioritising opportunities based on commercial potential and strategic importance
  • Independently originate and develop senior-level client relationships, delivering tailored client presentations, product discussions and investment ideas to drive new business and asset growth
  • Work closely with the Regional Director to manage and prioritise the regional sales and client engagement budget across client activity, events, travel and other business development initiatives

Event Participation:

  • Represent Global X at client meetings, industry conferences, roadshows, seminars and other external events
  • Take responsibility for planning and executing regional client events and roadshows to develop relationships and generate new business, within the agreed regional budget

Industry Knowledge:

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the ETF industry, European asset management landscape, competitor environment and investment trends, using this knowledge to identify commercial opportunities
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the French financial ecosystem and broader French-speaking investment landscape, including key market participants, distribution channels and client needs
  • Leverage an established network and strong relationships across the French-speaking financial markets to identify new opportunities, strengthen Global X’s market presence and support the regional sales strategy

CRM and Collaboration:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client, opportunity and pipeline information in Salesforce and other relevant systems
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Investment and other internal teams to maximise commercial opportunities and deliver an excellent client experience
  • Share market intelligence, client feedback and competitive insights with the wider team, making effective use of Global X resources and tools to support client engagement and business development

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to play a significant role in developing Global X’s French-speaking business, with responsibility for building the client franchise, driving new business and asset growth, and delivering against agreed commercial targets.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum five years of relevant experience within financial markets, asset management or investment products, preferably within ETFs, ETPs or broader investment products
  • Proven track record of developing client relationships, independently generating new business and delivering against AUM and new business targets
  • Established network across the French-speaking financial markets, with a strong understanding of the French financial ecosystem and key market participants
  • Strong understanding of the ETF and European asset management landscape, including competitor activity and broader investment trends
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a high-quality sales pipeline, identify commercial opportunities and convert prospects into long-term client relationships
  • Strong commercial judgement, with the ability to prioritise opportunities, manage resources and make effective use of an agreed business development budget
  • Excellent analytical, communication, presentation and client-facing skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior investment professionals and decision-makers
  • Proactive, self-motivated and entrepreneurial, with the ability to work independently, take responsibility and operate with a high degree of accountability
  • Fluent in French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in CRM tools, particularly Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite; willingness to travel regularly across the region as required. Knowledge of finance and economics and a BA/BS in Finance, Economics or a related discipline preferred
