French-Speaking Strategic Sourcer
6 Months Contract | Newcastle hybrid working - can be remote | Native or C1/C2 Fluent French & Fluent English
Are you a proactive recruitment, sourcing, or sales professional who excels at finding hidden talent? Do you speak fluent French and want to play a key role in driving European hiring growth for a major global professional services firm?
We are seeking a French-Speaking Strategic Sourcer to join an established recruitment hub in Newcastle. In this role, you will act as the driving engine behind top-of-funnel talent discovery, partnering with recruiters and hiring managers to engage high-calibre candidates across the French market.
Responsibilities
- Talent Sourcing: Develop and execute creative outreach strategies across LinkedIn, job boards, and professional networks to identify passive tech and consulting talent in France.
- Candidate Engagement & Screening: Conduct initial telephone and video interviews in French and English to evaluate candidates' skills, background, and cultural fit.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner directly with recruiters and business leaders to define target candidate profiles and deliver detailed shortlist briefs.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain an active talent pool for both current hiring needs and future headcount demands.
- Data & Recruitment Analytics: Keep applicant tracking systems (ATS) up-to-date and monitor key outreach conversion metrics to optimize sourcing channels.

Essential Skills
- Full professional fluency in both French and English (written and verbal).
- Proven track record in candidate sourcing, talent acquisition, or agency recruitment.
- Familiarity with Boolean search syntax, candidate databases, and ATS tools.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage passive candidates confidently.
- Based in or near Newcastle upon Tyne (or willing to travel for key on-site training and team meetings).
