ZN Comms is looking for an experienced Frequency Manager to join our growing UK operation and support communications across worldwide motorsport events.
Who we are
ZN Comms is a joint venture between Racing Force Group and Al Kamel Systems, bringing together extensive expertise in motorsport communications, electronics, timing, data, and race control. We design and deliver bespoke radio communication solutions for motorsport and live events, covering frequency management, radio infrastructure, system configuration and testing, trackside technical support, and event operations.
And we are growing.
Our latest project will see ZN Comms provide the radio communication systems and services for MADRรNG, the new circuit in Madrid hosting the Spanish Grand Prix for the first time.

The project includes approximately 350 radio kits, multiple signal repeaters, and an integrated radio and intercom infrastructure supporting teams, race control, marshals, medical personnel, recovery crews, and other operational teams across the circuit.
ZN Comms has also recently secured a multi year contract to provide radio communication services for the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
The role
As Frequency Manager, you will take responsibility for planning, coordinating, and managing RF and frequency activity, helping ensure compliant, reliable, and interference-free communications at events around the world. We are particularly interested in candidates with:
- Strong experience in RF engineering, frequency coordination, or spectrum management
- Excellent knowledge of radio systems, RF propagation, interference, and diagnostics
- Experience in motorsport, broadcast, live events, or similar high-pressure technical environments
- Knowledge of worldwide spectrum regulations, including Ofcom, ETSI, and FIA requirements
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of RF operations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience.
