Fresh Food Sales Assistant (Part-Time)
We are currently seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Fresh Food Sales Assistant - Part-Time to join our team at EUROSPAR Kinnegad.
Responsibilities
- Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Preparing and presenting fresh food products
- Merchandising chill and frozen stock
- Stock ordering and inventory control
- Follow all food safety, health and safety, and company procedures.
- Ensuring shelves and displays are fully stocked and well presented
- Supporting the deli and fresh food department
- Supporting store operations by assisting in the deli, fresh food, and checkout areas as required.

This role requires flexibility to work early morning shifts (from 6:00am) and weekend shifts in line with business requirements.
Requirements
- Previous retail/shop experience is essential
- Experience in a fresh food is desirable
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience with merchandising and stock replenishment
- Ability to order and manage chill and frozen stock
- Good attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is an advantage
