Front Desk Manager

Are you a confident hospitality leader who loves creating exceptional guest experiences? We’re looking for a Front Desk Manager to lead our busy Front Office team and be at the heart of our guests’ Marriott experience.

As Front Desk Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day operation of our Front Office, leading and developing a team of 10+ associates across Front Desk and Night Operations. You’ll ensure our guests receive warm, professional and memorable service from arrival through to departure.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead, motivate and develop the Front Office team, creating a positive and engaging working environment.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service and act as a key ambassador for the hotel and Marriott brand.
  • Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of Front Desk and Night Operations.
  • Manage guest feedback and resolve issues effectively, always looking for ways to improve the guest experience.
  • Monitor staffing, payroll and departmental costs to achieve financial and operational targets.
  • Work closely with other hotel departments to deliver a seamless guest journey.
  • Support recruitment, training, performance management and recognition within the team.
  • Maximise room revenue through effective same-day selling and revenue-focused decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with Marriott standards, policies, health & safety and operational procedures.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, confident leading a team and genuinely enjoys interacting with guests.

You’ll Ideally Have

  • Previous Front Office or hotel operations experience.
  • Strong leadership and people-development skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • A proactive, organised and commercially aware approach.
  • Experience using a hotel front desk/reservations system.
  • The ability to make confident decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
