About the role
We are seeking an exceptionally polished, professional and guest-focused Receptionist to join our Front Office team at Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire.

As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in creating memorable first impressions and delivering seamless experiences throughout every stage of the guest journey. You will welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently, respond to enquiries and ensure every interaction reflects the legendary Four Seasons service standards.
In this role, you will build meaningful connections with guests, anticipate their needs, collaborate closely with Concierge, Guest Experience and operational teams, and contribute to creating exceptional stays from arrival to departure.
What you will do
- Provide a warm, genuine and professional welcome to all guests, creating exceptional first and lasting impressions.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently while ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience.
- Handle guest enquiries, requests and concerns promptly, professionally and with a solutions-focused approach.
- Maintain accurate guest records, reservations and billing information in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Promote hotel facilities, services and local attractions, providing personalised recommendations where appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with Concierge, Housekeeping, Guest Experience and all operational departments to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Anticipate guest needs and take proactive steps to enhance their stay.
- Handle cash, payment transactions and daily accounting procedures accurately and responsibly.
- Respond to telephone calls, emails and online enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Uphold Four Seasons service standards and the Golden Rule philosophy in every interaction.

What you will bring
- Previous experience in a Receptionist, Front Desk or Front Office role, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest service and creating memorable experiences.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm, confident and professional manner.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest situations with professionalism and empathy.
- Confidence using hotel management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build positive relationships with guests and colleagues.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, in line with business needs.
- Additional language skills would be advantageous.
