About the Company

Aro Recruitment is a London-based hospitality staffing agency providing flexible staffing solutions to hotels and serviced apartments across London.

We’re looking for experienced Front Office Receptionists to join our growing team and work across a variety of hospitality properties.

The Role

As a Front Office Receptionist, you’ll be one of the first points of contact for guests and will play an important part in creating a professional and welcoming experience.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Welcoming guests and creating a great first impression
  • Managing guest check-ins and check-outs
  • Handling guest enquiries, requests and basic complaints
  • Answering and directing telephone calls professionally
  • Processing payments accurately
  • Managing reservations and updating guest records
  • Maintaining accurate information within hotel systems
  • Communicating clearly with Housekeeping, Reservations and other hotel departments
  • Supporting Front Office teams during busy periods
  • Delivering friendly and professional service throughout the guest journey

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous Front Office, Reception or Guest Services experience within hospitality
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Professional telephone manner and good phone etiquette
  • Confident, friendly and professional approach
  • Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
  • Ability to remain calm and organised in a busy hotel environment
  • Basic computer literacy and confidence using hotel systems
  • Previous experience with PMS systems such as Opera, OnQ or PEP is an advantage
  • Good spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Reliable, punctual and flexible with availability
