Company Description

NXT PHASE is a London-based fitness community focused on helping individuals move from one stage of their fitness journey to the next. Located in North West London, the team offers bespoke fitness services including dynamic classes, tailored personal training, and full gym access for all experience levels. NXT PHASE is driven by functional fitness, pushing boundaries to help clients improve strength, flexibility, and overall well-being. The philosophy centers on personal evolution, using customized training to build both physical and mental resilience. Team members are dedicated to guiding clients toward their “next phase” through supportive, goal-oriented coaching.

Role Description

This is an on-site role based in London, combining Front Desk Staff responsibilities with Personal Trainer duties. Day-to-day tasks include:

As a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor, the role involves:

  • Delivering one-to-one training sessions or fitness classes
  • Designing safe and effective workout programs
  • Monitoring client progress
  • Providing basic nutrition and lifestyle guidance within the scope of practice
  • Ensuring gym floor safety
  • Keeping equipment clean and ready for use
  • Collaborating with the wider team to support a positive client experience

Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required to meet client and operational needs.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in Personal Training and Fitness Instruction, with the ability to design and deliver effective, client-centred programs.
  • Experience or knowledge in Circuit Training and Sports Coaching to support varied, functional training sessions.
  • Foundational understanding of Nutrition to provide general guidance aligned with fitness goals, within professional scope.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create an inclusive and motivating environment.
  • Organisational skills for managing bookings, memberships, and front desk operations with attention to detail.
  • Relevant fitness qualification (e.g., Level 3 Personal Training or equivalent) and current first aid/CPR certification preferred.
  • Ability to work on-site, adapt to flexible schedules, and collaborate effectively with a team of fitness professionals.
