About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of a modern React and TypeScript platform, playing a crucial part in shaping its architecture and future development. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence technical standards, improve developer experience, and elevate product quality. You will be responsible for designing and implementing high-impact features, championing best practices in frontend development, and ensuring the delivery of intuitive, accessible user experiences for customers worldwide.

Collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams, you will drive enhancements across the frontend stack, including reusable component development, application architecture, testing, performance optimization, build tooling, and cloud integrations. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in making sound architectural decisions, challenging existing approaches, and setting new standards for frontend excellence within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in frontend development, particularly with React (version 18+) and TypeScript.
  • Strong understanding of modern frontend build tools such as Vite, Webpack, or similar.
  • Proficiency in creating scalable, reusable components and implementing complex UI patterns.
  • Experience with UI frameworks and libraries like Ant Design, SCSS, and responsive design principles.
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS Amplify, AppSync, and GraphQL.
  • Solid knowledge of frontend performance optimization, accessibility standards, and internationalization (i18n).
  • Experience with testing frameworks like Vitest, Testing Library, and MSW.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality features within a React 18+ and TypeScript application environment.
  • Own the evolution of Vite-based development and build tooling to streamline workflows.
  • Create and maintain reusable, scalable components and adhere to frontend architecture best practices.
  • Deliver accessible, responsive user interfaces utilizing Ant Design and SCSS.
  • Integrate frontend components with backend services such as AWS Amplify, AppSync, and GraphQL APIs.
  • Continuously optimize frontend performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Implement internationalization features to support multiple languages and regions.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and contribute to technical governance.
  • Manage dependencies, security updates, and address technical debt proactively.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver polished, production-ready solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve developer experience, tooling, and frontend workflows.
