About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will take ownership of a modern React and TypeScript platform, playing a pivotal role in shaping its future development. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional to influence architecture decisions, set engineering standards, and enhance the overall developer experience. You will be responsible for designing and delivering impactful features that contribute to an intuitive and accessible user experience used by customers globally. Collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams, you will drive improvements across the frontend stack, including reusable component design, application architecture, testing, performance optimization, build tooling, and cloud integrations. Your technical expertise and leadership will be instrumental in raising the bar for frontend excellence within the organization.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in frontend development with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience. Proficiency in React (version 18+), TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks is essential. Experience with build tools such as Vite, and familiarity with cloud services like AWS Amplify, AppSync, and GraphQL is highly desirable. Candidates should have a solid understanding of responsive design principles, accessibility standards, and internationalization (i18n). A proven track record of developing scalable, reusable components and implementing performance improvements is required. Strong knowledge of testing frameworks such as Vitest, Testing Library, and MSW is necessary. Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, and experience with code reviews and technical governance are also important. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
