About The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Front End Developer to join a high-profile programme with a leading global retail organization based in London. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on the development and enhancement of modern web applications that serve millions of users worldwide. As a key member of the development team, you will collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to create seamless, user-centric digital experiences. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in front-end development with proven experience in delivering complex web applications. Essential qualifications include:
- Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and modern web standards
- Demonstrable experience working within Agile teams
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
- Proactive approach to code documentation and testing

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance responsive web applications to meet business and user needs
- Build clean, reusable, and efficient front-end code that adheres to best practices and coding standards
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate visual designs and prototypes into functional user interfaces
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability across various devices and browsers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend developers, product managers, and QA specialists throughout the entire software development lifecycle
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
