About The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Front End Developer to join a high-profile programme with a leading global retail organization based in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented developer to contribute to the development and enhancement of cutting-edge web applications that deliver seamless user experiences. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers, to build responsive, scalable, and efficient web solutions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in translating design concepts into functional interfaces, ensuring that applications are optimized for performance and accessibility. This contract position offers the chance to be part of a dynamic team working on impactful projects within a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in front-end development with a proven track record of delivering high-quality web applications. Essential qualifications include extensive experience with JavaScript, CSS, and modern web standards. A solid understanding of responsive design principles and browser compatibility is required. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, with experience working within Agile development frameworks. Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and debugging are also important. While not mandatory, knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries, enterprise-level experience, and expertise in performance optimization and accessibility practices are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance responsive web applications to meet project requirements and user needs.
- Build clean, reusable, and efficient front-end code to ensure maintainability and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to accurately translate visual designs into functional interfaces.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, responsiveness, and scalability across different devices and browsers.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing applications to enhance performance and user experience.

- Competitive daily rates within the range of 650 to 750 per day, depending on experience and skills.
