About The Role

We are seeking a talented Mid-Senior Front End Developer with expertise in React and Node.js to join our dynamic engineering team. This fully remote role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge web applications used by a global customer base. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing intuitive, responsive user interfaces, while also collaborating on backend services to ensure seamless integration and performance. You will work within an Agile environment, participating in all phases of the development lifecycle, from architecture planning to deployment. This position is ideal for someone passionate about front-end development who enjoys working on innovative projects that make a real difference.

  • Proven experience with React.js in a commercial setting.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Experience developing backend services using Node.js.
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating them into applications.
  • Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux or Context API.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and modern development workflows.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks and best practices for ensuring code quality.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Previous experience working in Agile development environments.

Desirable skills include familiarity with Next.js, GraphQL, cloud platforms like Azure or AWS, containerization tools such as Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and UI frameworks like Tailwind CSS or Material UI.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain modern, responsive web applications using React, ensuring optimal performance and usability.
  • Build reusable UI components and maintain scalable front-end architecture.
  • Contribute to backend development using Node.js when required, ensuring seamless integration with front-end components.
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to implement intuitive and accessible user interfaces.
  • Consume and integrate RESTful APIs to connect front-end applications with backend services.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and mentoring junior developers.
  • Contribute to technical design discussions, architecture decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work within Agile Scrum teams to deliver high-quality software on time and within scope.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve application performance, accessibility, and user experience.
