About The Role

Quant Capital is actively seeking a talented Front-End Developer to join its rapidly expanding team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a junior to mid-level developer eager to work on a high-profile project within a luxury online fashion house based in London. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing engaging, user-friendly interfaces for a new, state-of-the-art e-commerce platform. You will be responsible for translating design concepts into functional web applications, ensuring seamless user experiences across various devices and platforms. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial front-end development experience.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with jQuery and XML.
  • Hands-on experience with Angular.js is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of responsive and fluid design principles.
  • Experience in mobile web development, including familiarity with PhoneGap or Cordova, is advantageous.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and solve complex problems effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive attitude with a keen interest in emerging technologies and best practices in UI/UX design.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive web interfaces that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and product managers to deliver seamless digital experiences.
  • Translate design wireframes and prototypes into functional code using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Implement and optimize features across multiple browsers and devices to ensure consistency and performance.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to uphold the highest standards of quality.
  • Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve platform capabilities.
  • Assist in the development of mobile web applications and explore new tools and frameworks to enhance functionality.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment by sharing knowledge and supporting peers.
