Frontend Developer - Vite.js
Location - London Hybrid
Outside IR35
Circa 400-450 per day
We are looking for an experienced Front-End Developer to join an established engineering team, working on a customer-facing, search-led digital platform.
This is a hands-on development role suited to someone who can quickly understand an existing codebase, collaborate effectively with product and UX teams, and begin delivering value from the outset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance responsive, customer-facing web applications
- Build new functionality using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap
- Work within an established MVC-based application architecture
- Integrate front-end components with APIs and back-end services

Essential Experience:
- Strong commercial JavaScript, HTML, and CSS development experience
- Hands-on experience with Vite.js
- Experience developing within MVC-based web applications
- Strong Bootstrap and responsive web development skills
- Experience integrating front-end applications with APIs
- Comfortable joining and contributing to a mature, established codebase
- Strong communication and teamworking skills

Desirable Experience:
- Optimizely CMS or another enterprise CMS
- Agile/Scrum engineering environments
- CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices
We are looking for someone pragmatic and delivery-focused who can get up to speed quickly and contribute effectively as part of an experienced engineering team.
