About The Role

We are seeking a talented Front End Developer to join our dynamic team at Version 1. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions and possess a keen interest in all aspects of software development. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing engaging and efficient user interfaces, translating complex requirements into functional technical solutions, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our products. You will work closely with key stakeholders, including Architects, Product Owners, and UX designers, to understand and implement innovative features that enhance user experience. This position offers an excellent opportunity to recommend and champion new technologies, support the development lifecycle, and grow within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The role requires a hands-on approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, fostering innovation and excellence in delivery.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of front-end development experience, specifically working with React.js
  • Strong expertise in designing and developing UI components and related functionalities
  • Experience working within Agile development methodologies
  • Proven ability to mentor and support team members
  • Solid understanding of coding standards, architecture, and continuous integration practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge or experience with Azure cloud services is desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the engineering team, including Architects, Product Owners, and UX designers, to understand and translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Develop and maintain user interfaces for applications, ensuring high quality, efficiency, and reusability of code and libraries
  • Follow agile development practices, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Engage in continuous communication with team members to share ideas, feedback, and improvements for user-facing features
  • Contribute to the evolution of products by providing input on the product pipeline and future roadmap
  • Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment
  • Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to ensure robust and scalable solutions
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, recommending tools and practices to enhance development processes
