Front-End Engineer - Investment Analytics

We are looking for an experienced Front-End Engineer to build modern, user-friendly applications supporting portfolio comparison, risk and performance analysis, drill-down, what-if scenarios, and exception-review workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop responsive, intuitive user interfaces using TypeScript and React or a comparable modern framework.
  • Integrate with APIs and work with complex datasets.
  • Build interactive charts, data visualisations, and data grids.
  • Develop automated tests and ensure strong accessibility and usability.
  • Work closely with investment users to translate complex calculations and data into clear, effective user journeys.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience with TypeScript and React or similar.
  • Experience building data-intensive applications and integrating APIs.
  • Strong understanding of application engineering, usability, and responsive design.
  • Experience with investment, trading, risk, or financial applications is highly desirable.
  • Financial markets knowledge is beneficial, but strong quantitative/quantitative mathematics experience is not required.
  • The priority is finding a strong application engineer who can create high-quality, intuitive user experiences around complex investment data.
