Role Description

This is a full-time or part-time on-site Front House role based at The Stag and Huntsman Pub in Hambleden. The Front House team member welcomes guests on arrival, provides menus, takes food and beverage orders, and serves meals and drinks at tables and the bar. The role includes answering guest questions, handling payments, and ensuring that dining areas are clean, organized, and prepared for service. Day-to-day tasks also involve coordinating with kitchen staff, managing reservations or walk-ins, and supporting smooth service during busy periods. The Front House team member helps maintain high standards of customer care and represents the pub’s values in all guest interactions.

  • Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, or pubs is preferred.
