We’re looking for a confident and engaging Warehouse Front Line Manager to lead our night-shift operation. You’ll manage and develop a team of Team Leaders, Warehouse Operatives and Administrators, ensuring goods move safely, accurately, and efficiently throughout our busy food-manufacturing site.
This is a hands-on management role for someone who enjoys bringing people together, solving problems and creating a positive, high-performing workplace.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading, motivating and developing your night-shift team through clear direction, coaching and regular feedback
- Managing warehouse activity to achieve targets for safety, service, quality, productivity and cost
- Delivering effective shift briefings, operational handovers and performance updates
- Ensuring stock movements and inventory processes are completed accurately and right first time
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, health and safety, housekeeping and audit readiness
- Overseeing the safe use of material-handling equipment, including pre-shift checks, defect reporting and VOR procedures
- Planning labour requirements and working with our approved agency partners when additional support is needed

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
