Global Highland are currently recruiting for Front of House for a busy cafe and tourist centre in Fort Augustus.
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused team members ideally with barista experience to join full time for the rest of the summer season.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale).
- Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, food, and ice cream.
- Handle cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
- Answer customer questions about menu items, ingredients, and allergens.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and service stations.
- Replenish stock, condiments, and display items as needed.
- Follow food hygiene, health, and safety procedures.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.

Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service.
- Barista experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, positive, and approachable personality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and time management skills.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling payments.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is an advantage.

What's On Offer
- Full time 35 hours 0830-1730.
- £13.45 per hour.
- 4 days on, 2 days off so always guaranteed 2 days off together.
