About the Role

To provide reception and hospitality duties for a thriving, professional Real Estate firm, alongside general administrative support to teams in the Manchester office.

You will often be the first person our clients meet or speak to, so we're looking for someone who advocates CBRE's values of Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence. You will relish taking ownership of your duties, and have a personable and proactive approach.

What You'll Do

  • Meeting and greeting clients, ensuring they receive a best-in-class CBRE experience
  • Answering the switchboard, directing calls and taking/forwarding detailed messages
  • Management of room bookings
  • Taking responsibility for the meeting rooms and client facing areas (including client facing kitchen), ensuring they are kept tidy and fully stocked with refreshments
  • Organising hospitality from external suppliers for meetings and events
  • Providing administrative support to our Manchester based teams
  • Handing over / receiving of keys
  • Booking of taxis and couriers
  • Franking mail and opening / distributing post
  • Receiving and checking deliveries (stationery / consumables etc) and placing the items in the correct storage location
  • Fire Marshall role

Assist the Manchester office and the wider secretarial support team to include:

  • Running company credit checks (Experian / D&B)
  • Running property conflict checks
  • Copy typing
  • Mailshots / envelope packing

What You'll Need

  • Experience of working in a corporate office environment, with internal and external clients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A team player and experience of working in a fast-paced team
  • Proactive approach and uses initiative - always looking for ways the office could work more efficiently
  • Keen to learn new skills, particularly internal systems bespoke to CBRE
  • Good knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Confident and assertive - must cope well under pressure
  • Property experience an advantage but not essential for the right person
