Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Front of House Assistant role based in Manchester, Ancoats, United Kingdom.
The Front of House Assistant will welcome guests, manage reservations and seating, and provide attentive table service throughout the multi-course experience.

- Coordinating with the kitchen and bar
- Clearing and resetting tables
- Maintaining a clean and organized dining area alongside a seamless guest experience
The role also involves:
- Handling guests
- Supporting smooth service during busy periods
- Adhering to standards for presentation and hospitality
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required.
Qualifications
- Experience in front-of-house service, including greeting guests, managing bookings, and coordinating table service in a restaurant or similar hospitality environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage courteously and professionally with a diverse range of guests.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tables, courses, and service steps in a structured dining format.
- Ability to work effectively within a team, collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced setting, with the ability to remain calm, efficient, and focused during peak service times.
- Professional appearance and conduct, with a commitment to maintaining Mana’s standards of hospitality and cleanliness.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Prior experience in fine dining or multi-course service is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn and follow detailed service protocols is essential.
