Front of House Assistant

Bolt Burdon Kemp, a top-ranked London law firm, is looking for a warm, organised and proactive Front of House Assistant to help create an exceptional experience for clients and visitors to our office. You’ll join a friendly, supportive team in a varied role where no two days are the same and where your care, professionalism and attention to detail will make a genuine difference, particularly for visitors who may need additional support.

What you’ll do

  • Create a warm, professional welcome for everyone visiting or working at our EC1A office.
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings, maintain internal guest lists and arrange refreshments.
  • Keep client-facing areas immaculate and provide polished hospitality for meetings and in-house events.
  • Manage building access, visitors and deliveries smoothly and securely.
  • Support clients and colleagues in person and by telephone, responding with patience, discretion and empathy; some clients may be vulnerable and require additional assistance while visiting the office.
  • Answer switchboard calls promptly and deliver consistently excellent customer service.
  • Provide occasional cover for the Support team and help with relevant administrative and housekeeping tasks.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
