Front of House Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a Front of House Assistant to join our team at one of our workplace restaurants in North Hykeham LN6 3QX.

This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 7am until 3pm. This role offers a fantastic work-life balance, on site parking, and a complimentary meal every shift.

About Us

Wilson Vale is an established, quality-led contract caterer. We work with amazing clients across the UK who place huge value on great food as a key part of their culture and community. We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout.

Our workplace restaurant and kitchen have recently undergone an exciting renovation, creating a vibrant working and dining environment for our catering team of 11 and around 500 guests. As a Front of House Assistant, you’ll provide a welcoming and professional service to customers while supporting our busy restaurant and hospitality operations. Our food offer includes fresh, made from scratch dishes, street food style lunches and a buffet breakfast, alongside working lunches and hospitality events.

The Role

We’re looking for someone with a friendly and approachable manner who is confident interacting with customers and enjoys working in a busy front of house environment. In return, we offer excellent training, development and career progression opportunities.

As our Front of House Assistant, you will:

  • Provide friendly and attentive customer service
  • Serve food and beverages across the restaurant and hospitality areas
  • Assist with the set-up and clear-down of restaurant and hospitality services
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the front of house
  • Work closely with the wider catering team to deliver a smooth and efficient service
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
