Founded over 30 years ago, Sir Cameron Mackintosh's Delfont Mackintosh Theatres Ltd owns and operates eight of the most prestigious theatres in London's West End: the Gielgud, Noël Coward, Novello, Sondheim, Prince Edward, Prince of Wales, Victoria Palace, and Wyndham's.
About the Role
Reporting to theatre management, this role ensures exceptional customer service is delivered before, during, and after the performance. This includes welcoming patrons, checking tickets in a fast-paced environment, and selling programmes, merchandise, ice cream, and an assortment of drinks and snacks to customers. The Front of House team also ensures the safe evacuation of patrons when directed by the Duty Manager.
Requirements
Successful applicants will have exceptional standards of customer service, great team-working skills, and excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
Working Pattern
This is an ideal opportunity for anyone looking for part-time work that fits around other commitments. We offer flexible contracts of up to 7 or 8 shows per week.

We are recruiting temporary roles for the Christmas period from 18 November 2026 to 2 January 2027. We are also looking for people who would like to join us beyond the Christmas period, if you are interested, please specify this in your application.
Important Eligibility Information
To be eligible for this role, you must be available to work throughout the Christmas period, including:
- Christmas Eve
- Boxing Day
- New Year's period
As this role may involve the service of alcohol, applicants must be aged 18 or over.
This role is primarily based around evenings and weekends, and you must be available to work at least one of the following days each week:
- Thursday
- Friday
- Saturday
There may also be opportunities to pick up additional shifts at our other venues, subject to operational requirements and availability.

We are able to offer the following contract options:

- Minimum of 30 hours per week
- Across 6 days per week

- Minimum of 26.25 hours per week
- Across 5 days per week

6 Show Contract
- Minimum of 22.5 hours per week
Alternative flexible working arrangements may also be available and can be discussed at the interview.

Training Dates
If successful, you must be available to attend in-person training on at least one of the following dates before commencing your role:
- 4 November 2026
- 10 November 2026
- 13 November 2026
