Front of House Coordinator

Award-winning practice Assael Architecture is looking for a highly organised and motivated Front of House Coordinator to join the team. This dynamic role is integral to the smooth running of the studio and requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to multitask and a friendly demeanour. Working both independently and together with the admin and project teams, the FOH Coordinator is responsible for a variety of areas including managing front of house and premises related contracts and suppliers.

About the Role

Assael Architecture is an architectural practice that also offers interior design, landscape architecture and visualisation services both in the UK and internationally. We have over 30 years of experience and specialise in residentially led mixed-use schemes and work across a wide range of living sectors, including Build to Rent, Co-Living, Later Living and Masterplanning. The practice is recognised for its design credentials and has recently won the British Homes Award for Best Community Building and a RIBA London Award for Sunday Mills and shortlisted for many other design awards in the last year.

Responsibilities

  • Manage front of house and premises related contracts and suppliers
  • Work both independently and together with the admin and project teams
  • Ensure the smooth running of the studio

Requirements

  • An interest in working in an architectural/creative business
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain a well-organized workspace
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisation skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Attention to detail
  • Must have experience of a busy role with the ability to prioritise
  • Excellent customer service skills and interact professionally with clients and visitors
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email/calendar applications (Outlook)
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate they can learn quickly, have self-initiative and work efficiently and effectively independently and within a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills
