Customer Host / Front of House

Locations: Alternating sites - LS15 & Harrogate
Salary: £27,500

Hours: Full Time, Monday–Friday – working hours will be either 8:00am–4:30pm or 8:30am–5:00pm

We are exclusively working with a growing organisation to recruit a Customer Host / Front of House position, working across two locations in LS15 and Harrogate.

This is a varied, people-focused role combining front of house, customer service, hospitality, and general operational support. You’ll be responsible for providing a warm and professional welcome to customers and visitors, while helping to ensure both locations run smoothly and are consistently presented to a high standard.

This would be a great opportunity for someone from a customer service, hospitality, retail, or reception background who has extensive experience working in this field who enjoys working with people and is happy getting involved in a range of different responsibilities throughout the day.

What will you be doing?

  • Meeting and greeting customers and visitors, providing excellent customer service.
  • Acting as a friendly and approachable point of contact for day-to-day queries.
  • Managing meeting room bookings and ensuring rooms are prepared and ready for use.
  • Assisting with post, deliveries, and general customer requests.
  • Preparing refreshments and ensuring kitchen and refreshment areas remain clean, tidy, and well stocked.
  • Supporting with catering and the set-up of meetings and events.
  • Ensuring reception, meeting rooms, and communal areas are consistently well presented.
  • Carrying out regular checks throughout the day and resolving any presentation or cleanliness issues.
  • Supporting with general upkeep and reporting any maintenance requirements.
  • Completing routine health, safety, and compliance checks.
  • Monitoring and replenishing stock and supplies.
  • Providing general administrative support, including data entry and maintaining records.
  • Working closely with the wider team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of both locations.

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience within customer service, hospitality, retail, reception, or administration would be beneficial.
  • A confident and friendly communicator who enjoys interacting with people.
  • Professional, approachable, and well presented.
  • Strong attention to detail with high standards of presentation.
  • Organised and able to manage several tasks at once.
  • Proactive with a willingness to get involved and help wherever needed.
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on role rather than being solely desk based.
  • Reliable, motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable travelling between the LS15 and Harrogate locations.
