About the Role

Eden Scott is delighted to be working with Borthwick Castle, an incomparable 15th Century Scottish keep - the only one of its ilk in private hands across all of Europe. It is now the most stunning luxury venue available exclusively for private hire for weddings and events, complete with 12 bedchambers.

Exclusive hire includes three magnificent public rooms used for ceremonies, receptions, dining, dancing, and activities.

They are now seeking a Front of House Events Manager to join their highly dedicated team who curate exceptional experiences for all their guests.

Responsibilities

  • Manages a team of two permanent staff and further 20 casual team members.
  • Oversee every detail of the guest experience to guarantee the delivery of an uncompromised standard of luxury.
  • This role is hands-on, leading from the front and being the face of their experience and includes operational preparation and management of the events for the entirety of clients' stays including check-in, food and beverage delivery, and check-out.

Key Skills and Experience Required

  • At least 3 years’ experience managing front of house/food and beverage services in a luxury hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Calm and Professional mannerism.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving license.
