Slazenger Padel Clubs are premium padel venues dedicated to providing outstanding customer experiences, world-class facilities, and a welcoming community for players of all abilities. Job Description

As a Front of House Host, you will be the face of the club, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring every member and guest receives a warm, professional welcome. You will support the day-to-day operation of the club, assist members with bookings and enquiries, maintain high presentation standards, and help create a positive atmosphere throughout the venue.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Welcome members, guests, and visitors to the club.
  • Provide knowledgeable assistance regarding memberships, bookings, coaching programmes, events, and club facilities.
  • Resolve customer queries professionally and efficiently.
  • Handle telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries.
  • Promote a friendly, inclusive, and engaging club environment.

Reception & Administration

  • Manage court bookings and member registrations using club systems.
  • Process membership applications, payments, and retail sales.
  • Monitor and respond to enquiries promptly.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and club documentation.
  • Assist with daily operational administration tasks.

Club Operations

  • Carry out opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across all club areas.
  • Conduct regular facility checks and report maintenance issues.
  • Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Support stock management for retail and operational supplies.

Membership & Community Engagement

  • Encourage member participation in club events, socials, leagues, and coaching programmes.
  • Promote memberships, events, competitions, and club initiatives.
  • Gather customer feedback and communicate opportunities for improvement.
  • Help create a welcoming atmosphere that drives member retention and satisfaction.

Sales & Revenue Support

  • Promote memberships, coaching sessions, events, and retail products.
  • Support club sales targets and membership growth initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance member experience and increase revenue.

Essential

  • Previous customer service or reception experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive, proactive, and professional attitude.
  • Comfortable using booking systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends.

Desirable

  • Experience within a leisure, fitness, hospitality, or sports environment.
  • Knowledge or passion for padel, tennis, or racket sports.
  • First Aid qualification.
