Front-of-House Host – JPMorganChase (Internal Only)
We are looking for an outstanding Front-of-House Host to represent a prestigious St James Client within one of the world’s leading investment banks, JPMorganChase. Based across two prominent London sites in Canary Wharf and Embankment, this role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
This opportunity goes beyond the responsibilities of a traditional reception position. You will be the face of the organisation, responsible for creating an exceptional first impression and ensuring every visitor receives a seamless, professional and welcoming experience. We are seeking someone who takes a proactive approach to client service, demonstrates strong ownership and consistently delivers service excellence that leaves a lasting impact. As the Front-of-House Host you will be working with a team of 9 like-minded individuals to cover the ground floor reception.
The Opportunity:
- To take full ownership of the reception and associated front-of-house areas, ensuring they consistently meet the highest standards of presentation, organisation and professionalism.
- Acting as a polished and personable first point of contact for clients, senior stakeholders, visitors, occupiers and colleagues.
- Creating a genuinely memorable welcome, ensuring every guest feels valued, expected and exceptionally well looked after.
- Meeting and greeting all guests and visitors with warmth, confidence and professionalism.
- Managing visitor arrivals and signing-in procedures in line with security protocols and building requirements.
- Providing clear, knowledgeable and professional assistance to guests, visitors, occupiers and clients.
- Managing a high volume of calls efficiently, identifying requirements quickly and ensuring callers are directed appropriately.
- Handling difficult, sensitive or distressed situations with composure, empathy and discretion.
- Identifying opportunities to improve the client and visitor experience and being proactive in resolving issues before they become problems.
- To create and host a warm, polished and proactive welcome to the lobby for all visitors.
