We're hiring for a hands-on Front of House Lead
To help lead the day-to-day Front of House operation at a new premium yoga studio in London.
This is a highly visible, member-facing role for someone who understands that exceptional hospitality is about the details. You'll be responsible for creating a calm, warm and seamless experience for every person who walks through the door, while supporting the wider Front of House team and ensuring the studio operates to a consistently high standard.
The studio is built around a pure yoga experience, offering a considered range of traditional yoga styles in a bright, warm and distraction-free environment. The Front of House team will play a key role in bringing this experience to life.
The Basics:
- Salary: £33-£35k (depending on experience)
- Location: Notting Hill
- Working hours: Hours will be scheduled across the studio's operating hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends. The studio will operate seven days a week, with classes running from approximately 6–7am through to 8–8:30pm. The company are open to exploring part-time and full-time applicants.
- Start date: Late October
- Reporting to: Studio Manager
The Role:
The Front of House Lead will be a key member of the studio team, helping to ensure the Front of House operation runs smoothly while delivering an exceptional experience to every student and visitor.
- Lead by example across the Front of House team, setting high standards for service, professionalism, presentation and communication.
- Create a warm, calm and welcoming environment where every student feels recognised and looked after.
- Act as a senior point of contact for the Front of House team, supporting colleagues with day-to-day questions, issues and decision-making.
- Support the Studio Manager with the smooth running of the studio and day-to-day operational requirements.
- Take ownership of the Front of House experience during shifts, ensuring the studio is prepared, organised and operating to the expected standard.
- Welcome students and guests into the studio and ensure they have everything they need before, during and after their visit.
- Build genuine relationships with members and create a strong sense of community around the studio.
- Confidently handle questions, feedback and any issues that arise, resolving them calmly and professionally and escalating where appropriate.
- Support class check-ins, bookings and student enquiries, ensuring the experience feels seamless and personal.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation across the Front of House and wider studio environment.
- Support opening and closing procedures and ensure all relevant daily processes are completed correctly.
- Support the management of studio systems, bookings and client information, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support membership and client administration as required, ensuring records and information are kept up to date.
- Support the team with shift cover and day-to-day coordination where required.
- Identify operational issues proactively and take ownership of finding practical solutions.
- Support the Studio Manager with improving Front of House processes, team standards and the overall student experience.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture and help create an environment where people enjoy working.
- Represent the brand at all times, ensuring every interaction reflects the studio's calm, premium and considered approach.

The Person:
An experienced Front of House, hospitality, customer experience, studio or wellness professional who genuinely enjoys working with people.
- Naturally warm, personable and confident, with the ability to make people feel comfortable without being overly familiar.
- Understands what exceptional hospitality looks like and has a strong eye for the small details that elevate a customer experience.
- Calm and composed, particularly during busy periods or when unexpected issues arise.
- Confident leading by example and supporting other team members to maintain consistently high standards.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with a natural instinct to take ownership rather than wait to be asked.
- A strong communicator who is comfortable speaking with a wide range of people and building genuine relationships.
- Commercially aware and confident discussing memberships, classes and the studio experience without being overly sales-driven.
- Comfortable using technology and studio management systems, with strong administrative skills.
- Reliable and flexible, with the ability to work early mornings, evenings and weekends as part of a rota.
- Comfortable working in a premium environment where presentation, discretion and professionalism are important.
- Genuinely interested in yoga, wellness, hospitality or creating exceptional customer experiences.
- Aligned with a brand that is effortless, assured and enticing, rather than loud, overly commercial or trend-led.
- Someone who brings positive energy and warmth to the team while understanding that the studio experience should ultimately feel calm, considered and distraction-free.
