Reception

Reception is the first and last thing every guest experiences here — and with 100-200 check-ins on a typical day, that first impression is being constantly made. We're looking for a Front of House Manager who understands what it takes to get that right, shift after shift.

The Role

As Front of House Manager, you'll lead a team of 15 across Reception, Guest Services, Concierge, Lobby and Nights — including a 7-strong Reception team, 2 Guest Services colleagues and a 6-strong Night team. You'll oversee the day-to-day running of the department, working across a high-volume front desk and a busy conference calendar (we typically host 2-3 dinner events a week), while making sure every guest gets a warm welcome and a standard of service that holds up under pressure.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, coaching and developing the Front of House team across Reception, Concierge, Lobby and Nights
  • Monitoring guest satisfaction and driving departmental performance against brand standards
  • Managing the operational demands of high daily arrival volumes alongside regular conference and event business
  • Building a culture of service excellence, teamwork and continuous improvement
  • Working closely with other departments — including our spa and gym, used by over 2,000 members — to ensure a joined-up guest experience across the hotel

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
