Front of House Manager
Newmark | Fitzroy Office, Mortimer Street, London
Full-time | Office-based, 5 days per week
Newmark is looking for an exceptional Front of House Manager to lead the reception and front-of-house experience at our newly refurbished Fitzroy office on Mortimer Street, London.
This is a highly visible and important role. As the first point of contact for clients, visitors, colleagues and business partners, you will be responsible for creating a consistently outstanding experience that reflects the professionalism, quality and values of the Newmark brand.
We are looking for someone who understands that exceptional front of house is about much more than greeting visitors. It is about anticipating needs, creating a welcoming environment, managing every interaction with confidence and professionalism, and ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times.
You will be a key member of the wider Facilities team and will play an important role in the successful day-to-day operation of the office. You will lead by example, develop the front-of-house team and ensure that processes, procedures and service standards are consistently followed.
About You
You will be an experienced hospitality or front-of-house professional who has worked to the highest standards of service and is confident operating in a premium corporate environment.
You will be polished, professional and personable, with the confidence and experience to manage a busy front-of-house operation while remaining calm, welcoming and solutions-focused.

Key Responsibilities
Front of House Leadership
- Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day front-of-house operation.
- Ensure every visitor receives a warm, professional and memorable welcome.
- Act as the face of Newmark at the Fitzroy office and consistently represent our brand and values.
- Maintain exceptional standards of presentation, service and professionalism across the reception area and wider front-of-house experience.
- Ensure the reception operates smoothly, efficiently and professionally throughout the day.
- Anticipate the needs of clients, visitors and colleagues and proactively resolve issues wherever possible.
Team Management & Development
- Lead, motivate and develop front-of-house team members.
- Set clear expectations and ensure consistently high standards of performance.
- Coach team members through regular feedback, support and development.
- Lead by example and demonstrate the behaviours and service standards expected of the team.
- Identify opportunities to improve the team's performance, confidence and capability.
- Manage issues and performance concerns appropriately and professionally.
Client & Visitor Experience
- Welcome and assist clients, visitors and colleagues with warmth, discretion and professionalism.
- Manage visitor queries and requests efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure VIPs, senior stakeholders and important visitors receive an exceptional level of service.
- Build positive relationships with colleagues, clients and key stakeholders.
- Handle challenging or unexpected situations calmly and professionally.

Standards, Processes & Procedures
- Ensure all front-of-house processes and procedures are understood and consistently followed.
- Maintain the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness, organisation and professionalism.
- Monitor service levels and identify areas where improvements can be made.
- Take ownership of front-of-house issues and ensure they are resolved appropriately.
- Work closely with the wider Facilities team to ensure a seamless experience across the office.
