Hours: Variable, including evenings and weekends across club opening hours, 6am to 11pm, Monday to Sunday

The Role
As Front of House at Pure Padel, you are the first face our members and guests see. Your job is to keep things running smoothly on the ground: welcoming customers and managing bookings, supporting events, maintaining the club environment, and helping drive sales across food, drink and retail. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hospitality or customer service experience who is keen to develop their career in the sports and leisure industry.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service and Front Desk
- Greet members and guests with energy, warmth and professionalism on arrival.
- Provide excellent customer service and hospitality at every touchpoint.
- Manage bookings, customer queries and payments efficiently and accurately using club systems (Playtomic and Square).
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly, escalating to management where needed.
- Maintain a positive, welcoming atmosphere at reception and throughout the club at all times.

Food, Beverage and Retail Sales
- Upsell food, drink and retail items (rackets, balls, accessories and racket hire) to maximise ancillary revenue for the club.
- Assist in the operation of the café and bar, ensuring products are well presented and service standards are maintained.
- Keep food, beverage and retail areas clean, stocked and aligned with Pure Padel's brand standards.
- Support stock management and flag replenishment needs to management.
Community, Events and Academy Support
- Help create a welcoming community feel, building friendly relationships with regular players.
- Support the delivery of events, socials, tournaments and Academy sessions, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for participants.
- Help coordinate coaching schedules and assist with the organisation of group sessions as required.
- Assist in setting up and clearing down for events and special activities.
Club Standards and Operations
- Maintain court standards and overall cleanliness of the club throughout your shift.
- Carry out regular checks of all areas to ensure the club is safe, tidy and presentable.
- Assist the Club Manager and Supervisor with daily operations, including rotas and general admin tasks.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and report any concerns to management promptly.

Safeguarding
- Understand your safeguarding responsibilities, covered in your onboarding, and know how to recognise, raise and escalate a concern.
Flexibility
- Undertake additional tasks from time to time as directed by the management team, and demonstrate flexible availability including evenings and weekends across club opening hours.
Person Specification
Essential
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer facing role (minimum 1 year front of house).
- Friendly, confident communicator with strong people skills.
- Reliable, organised and comfortable with basic admin tasks.
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
Desirable
- 2 years' hospitality experience.
- Experience handling bookings or payments, ideally in a sports club, gym or leisure venue.
- Barista or café experience.
- Familiarity with booking platforms such as Playtomic.
- A passion for padel or racket sports.
