About the Role
We are looking for a warm, proactive, and reliable Front of House & Micro-Kitchen Attendant to join a busy, high-standard hospitality team. This role sits within the in-house catering operation of one of our key clients: a fast-growing, leading technology company known for its dynamic culture and high standards of employee experience. Working a desirable Monday to Friday schedule, you will deliver excellent customer service, prepare and serve high-quality beverages, and keep the coffee station, buffet, and micro-kitchens stocked, fresh, and appealing throughout the day. You will work closely with the back-office team to ensure smooth operations and a great daily experience for the client's teams.
Key Responsibilities
Buffet & Food Service
- Manage and replenish the buffet of sandwiches, pastries, and beverages, ensuring availability and freshness throughout the day.
- Work closely with the back-office team to monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of food items.
- Assist with setting up and clearing the breakfast and lunch buffet and service areas, ensuring they are always clean and well-stocked.
Coffee & Beverage Service
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages (coffee, tea, and other specialty drinks) to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized coffee station, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
- Greet customers with a friendly, professional attitude, taking orders and offering recommendations as needed.
- Ensure all beverages are prepared to the highest quality standards, adhering to recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain an efficient workflow to handle high volumes of orders during busy periods.

Micro-Kitchen Setup & Replenishment
- Set up and regularly restock the micro-kitchen areas with snacks, beverages, and other items to ensure continuous availability.
Customer Service
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests, ensuring a pleasant and enjoyable experience.
- Address customer inquiries, offer product recommendations, and handle special requests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Create a welcoming and positive atmosphere for guests.
Hygiene & Safety
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including the coffee station, buffet, and service areas.
- Regularly clean coffee machines, counters, and utensils to maintain hygiene standards.
- Comply with all company hygiene procedures and local food safety regulations, including the proper handling, storage, and disposal of food items.
Team Collaboration
- Work in collaboration with the back-office team to ensure smooth front-of-house operations and product availability.
- Foster a culture of mutual respect and effective communication within the team and with the client, even during intense service periods.
- Follow all established company processes and procedures, including proper food handling, portion control, and safety guidelines.

Requirements
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a front-of-house role, ideally within a food service or café environment.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively and professionally with customers.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both with customers and team members.
- Requirements: Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene certification (or willingness to complete it upon hiring) and Allergen Awareness training.
