Front of House Regional Portfolio Operations Manager

Manchester or Birmingham base

Remuneration: £45,000 - £50,000 plus an excellent benefits package to include a car allowance

Home-based with regular travel at least three times a week

We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic Front of House Portfolio Operations Manager to lead and develop a diverse portfolio of Front of House operations across the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer-focused leader who thrives in a multi-site environment and is passionate about service excellence, people development, and operational performance.

You’ll oversee a varied portfolio spanning commercial buildings, managing teams ranging from individual Front of House professionals to larger, multi-site teams. You’ll adapt your leadership approach to meet the needs of each location, while ensuring consistently high standards across the portfolio.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Leading and developing Front of House managers and teams across multiple locations
  • Driving operational excellence, service standards, and continuous improvement
  • Building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and building management teams
  • Managing portfolio budgets, P&L, and financial performance
  • Monitoring and improving key performance indicators across financial, people, and quality measures
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and succession planning
  • Mobilising new contracts, including supporting TUPE transfers where required
  • Delivering engaging events and activations that enhance customer experience and support ESG objectives
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety, security, operational, and company procedures
  • Identifying opportunities for innovation, technology, and best-practice improvements
  • Representing the Front of House operation professionally at meetings, industry events, and client engagements

  • At least 2 years’ experience managing Front of House operations, ideally across multiple sites and/or teams
  • A background in luxury hospitality, 5-star environments, corporate services, or a similarly high-service setting
  • Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing teams
  • Strong commercial and financial awareness, including experience managing budgets or P&L
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Experience handling HR processes, including investigations, performance management, and sensitive employee matters
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A genuine passion for customer service and delivering excellence
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities, contracts, locations, and team dynamics
  • A professional, adaptable, and positive approach
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
