Front of House & Salon Operations Manager
Aura Salon, Market Harborough
Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm or 9am–6pm
Full-time or two part-time job-share positions available
£14.50–£16.00 per hour, depending on experience and responsibilities
Aura Salon is an established hair, beauty and medical aesthetics salon in the heart of Market Harborough. We are looking for a confident, organised and naturally engaging person to become an important part of our front-of-house and management team.
This is a busy, varied and people-focused position, working closely alongside the Managing Director to help ensure the salon runs smoothly and every client receives a warm, professional experience.
The role
Your responsibilities may include:
- Managing the salon diary and online booking system
- Organising appointments and helping to maximise diary availability
- Welcoming clients and overseeing their experience from arrival to departure
- Answering telephone calls, emails and client enquiries
- Managing bookings, deposits, cancellations, payments and rebooking
- Supporting the day-to-day running and presentation of the salon
- Monitoring and ordering salon stock
- Assisting with staff rotas, holidays and general team coordination
- Handling client questions or concerns calmly and professionally
- Supporting the Managing Director with salon administration and operational tasks

We are looking for someone who is:

- Confident with computers, emails and appointment-management systems

- Reliable, presentable and committed to providing excellent client care

Previous salon experience would be helpful but is not essential. We would also be interested in hearing from candidates with strong front-of-house, hospitality, clinic, premium retail, office-management or customer-service experience.
Working pattern
The position is available as either one full-time role, working Monday to Friday, or two part-time positions working on a fixed job-share arrangement across the week.
Working hours will be either 8:30am–5:30pm or 9am–6pm, to be agreed, with a 30-minute to one-hour unpaid lunch break.
Part-time applicants should include their preferred working days when applying.
