Theatre Severn are recruiting Casual Front of House Security Stewards. We are looking for people who are friendly, approachable, good with customers, have good communication skills, and can work well in a team.
About Theatre Severn
Theatre Severn is a busy and vibrant performance venue with a wide range of events throughout the year. The security team are primarily responsible for:
- Bag checks
- Monitoring alcohol consumption
- Assisting the team dealing with any anti-social behaviour
The Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing Front of House Team at Theatre Severn as a Casual SIA Security Steward. You will need a valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) license. You will be responsible for the security of patrons, staff, and visitors at Theatre Severn.

Responsibilities:
- Undertake Front of House security, concierge, and stewarding duties
- Provide first aid care for staff and patrons of Theatre Severn
- Act as a key holder and duty manager for specific building opening times
- Provide a high standard of customer service, assisting with the creation of an exciting, welcoming, and friendly environment for theatre patrons
The role entails predominantly evenings and weekend work.
Ideal Candidates
- Have their SIA Licence
- Experience of working in a similar venue
- A customer-focused approach with a sound understanding of teamwork and good communication skills

Requirements:
- Flexible approach to hours which must include evening and weekend work
- Bank holiday work with some daytime work too
- Shifts are allocated on a rota basis
