Front of House Supervisor

A welcoming, hands-on role focused on delivering an excellent visitor experience, supporting events and tours, and helping all front of house areas run smoothly.

Why Kingsbarns Distillery?

Working at Kingsbarns Distillery Visitor Centre means becoming part of one of Scotland’s most distinctive whisky visitor experiences. Whisky distilleries are among the country’s most popular visitor attractions, playing an important role in Scotland’s tourism industry and global reputation.

Located just six miles from St Andrews and close to the picturesque fishing village of Crail, Kingsbarns Distillery Visitor Centre is set in an idyllic East Neuk location within a beautifully restored Category B-listed farm steading. The Distillery is home to Kingsbarns Single Malt Whisky and its sister brand, Darnley’s Gin.

Open 7 days a week, all year round, our Visitor Centre has built an outstanding reputation for the quality of its experiences and hospitality. It has been recognised as the No. 1 attraction in Fife on TripAdvisor and has attracted national and international media attention, including coverage from the BBC, Forbes, and The Scotsman.

Behind our five-star visitor experience is a team that genuinely cares about hospitality. We want every guest to feel welcomed, valued, and looked after, and believe this starts with creating a workplace where our own people feel the same.

We are proud to offer an interesting, friendly, and supportive working environment, where team members can develop their skills, work in a beautiful setting, and play a genuine part in delivering memorable experiences for visitors from around the world.

About the Role

The Front of House Supervisor will play a key role in creating a warm, professional, and memorable experience for visitors. This varied, hands-on role supports tours, events, retail, and café operations, helping ensure all guest-facing areas run smoothly throughout the day. This position is being advertised as a 4-day a week role - 32 hours.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
